What is the AutoPay plan?

The AutoPay plan is a convenient new payment option for subscribers. Your credit card will automatically be charged upon renewal of your subscription at the then current renewal rate. You will notice a charge on your credit card at the end of every term for your subscription. What this means to you is that you will never have an interruption in your service, never have to pay another bill, waste another stamp, or receive a telemarketing call to remind you to pay your bill. And the best part of all, it's risk-free. You can change your mind or cancel at any time.

How do I cancel AutoPay?

If you decide that you do not want to be on the AutoPay plan, just let us know. Either send us an e-mail through Feedback, call us at 1-800-872-0001 M-F 6:30 am - 9:00 pm EST or send us your cancellation notice in writing to:

USA TODAY

Attn: AutoPay Coordinator

National Customer Service

7950 Jones Branch Drive

Please include your account number, name and address to ensure we accurately process your request. You may choose to receive renewal notices upon expiration or receive a refund on all undelivered copies.

What is the Newspapers In Education program?

NIE is a program between schools and USA TODAY in which a classroom set of newspapers and a lesson plan corresponding to that day's newspaper are delivered to classrooms and used as part of students´ daily studies. This allows students to better understand the people, places and events that impact their lives.

Donations to the Newspapers In Education program are not tax deductible.

How often is USA TODAY published?

When will my subscription start?

You can expect your USA TODAY subscription to start within 4-7 business days from the day you submit your order.

How will USA TODAY be delivered?

Depending on where you live, you will receive USA TODAY by either carrier delivery (to your home or office in the morning) or via the US Postal Service. Although the majority of USA TODAY subscriptions are delivered either by carrier or same-day mail, some extremely rural areas may be delivered by the US Postal Service on a delay. If you have questions about how your subscription will be delivered, please call us at 1-800-872-0001 M-F 6:30 am - 9:00 pm EST.

At what time should I expect my newspaper to be delivered?

For carrier delivered orders, you can generally expect the newspaper delivered to your door by 7:00 am each morning.
For mail delivered orders, the newspaper will arrive with your daily mail.

How can I pay for my subscription?

Online subscription orders must be paid for with a credit card. USA TODAY accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club. For other payment methods, please call us at 1-800-872-0001 M-F 6:30 am - 9:00 pm EST.
Why does my address get reformatted when I submit it?

USA TODAY runs the submitted address information through an address hygiene software program. It is recommended that you choose the returned address to ensure the best delivery of your newspaper either by mail or carrier delivery.
Why can't I see the changes I made to my account immediately?

When you make a change to your account information online, it will take at least 2 days for your changes to take effect.
How do I request a gift card?

USA TODAY provides FREE gift cards. To request a gift card, call our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-USA-0001 M-F 6:30 am - 9:00 pm EST or send us an e-mail through Feedback.
What should I do if my newspaper does not arrive?

If your newspaper does not arrive or arrives in poor condition, you can do one of the following:

Log a complaint under Feedback with a full detailed description. Remember we can not fix a problem we do not know about.
Call 1-800-USA-0001 M-F 6:30 am - 9:00 pm EST and talk to a Customer Service Professional. If the call is received early enough, same-day redelivery may be a possibility for our carrier delivered subscriptions.
How do I temporarily stop my subscription if I go on vacation?

Just go to the Vacation Holds link to temporarily stop your paper. You can submit multiple vacation hold requests in advance if you are going to be traveling in intervals. Your expiration date will automatically be extended by the number of days your newspaper is on hold.
Where can I find my account number?

This can be found on the label on your newspaper or on your bill. If your newspaper does not have a label, then you will need to get your account number by calling our National Customer Service center at 1-800-USA-0001 M-F 6:30 am - 9:00 pm EST. If you are not available to call us during those times, please send us your request through Feedback and we will e-mail your account number to you.
What if I cannot find my account information online?

Certain USA TODAY subscriptions are delivered by other newspapers who maintain all the billing and account information on their systems. If this is the case, you will not be able to interact with your account on this site. You will be able to obtain more information about your account by calling USA TODAY National Customer Service at 1-800-872-0001 M-F 6:30 am - 9:00 pm EST.
